Jessica has been playing the violin for 7 years and taking fiddle from Bill Gurley for 1 1/2 years. She loves Old time, Bluegrass and Celtic/Irish fiddling. She enjoys jamming with different fiddlers and bands, such as Charlie Wallace, Gene McDonald, James King, The Lundy Brothers, Paul Anderson from Code Blue, George Winn & the Bluegrass Partners, Jeff Michael and many more.
Jessica started her own jam at Chowning's Tavern in Colonial Williamsburg, the 3rd Saturday of every month. She has as many as 7 or 8 fiddlers show up to enjoy an evening of jamming.
Jessica entered the Old Time Fiddlers Contest in Galax, Virginia and won 4th place in the Youth division. She also took 9th place in the Adult division in the Virginia State Fiddling Contest.
